This site learns almost nothing about you: it has no forms, no cookies and no analytics. Here is everything worth knowing, in plain language.

What we collect

Two things, and the second is not ours.

Your letters
If you write to startups@, partners@, sponsors@ or press@i8gl.com, we keep the letter: your address, your name if you gave it, and whatever you told us or attached.
The host's server logs
Like any website, this one sits with a hosting provider that keeps ordinary request logs: address, browser, time. We do not collect or analyse them.

Why, and on what basis

We use your letter to answer it - about an application, a venue, sponsorship, mentoring or press. The basis is your own request.

We do not pass your letter to Startup World Cup, Pegasus Tech Ventures, partners, investors or the press without your separate consent. We do not sell data, give it to advertisers or add you to a mailing list you did not ask for.

If you nominate a startup, we contact them only with your consent.

Who else touches it

Only what the site and the mail need to work: the hosting provider and the email service (Google Workspace). Each processes data only on our instructions.

Both operate outside Russia. If it matters to you that your data stays in the country, send us a short first note with no attachments and we will agree another channel.

How long we keep it

Letters
Two years from the last exchange, then deleted. Ask and we delete sooner.
Server logs
As long as the provider keeps them; we do not export them.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it or withdraw consent. One letter to info@i8gl.com is enough - no forms, no reasons. A person answers.

If you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to the regulator in your country. We would rather hear it first.

Security, and the honest limit of it

The site runs over HTTPS and stores nothing you type, because there is nothing here to type into.

Ordinary email is not encrypted end to end. Do not put in a first letter what you would not trust to email: a full financial model, unpublished client data. That is what the next step is for.

Children

The programme is for founders and the people who work with them. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under sixteen.

Changes

When forms or analytics arrive on this site, this page changes the same day, and so does the date at the top.
